GARDEN THEATER IN DETROIT
KEYNOTE PERFORMANCE BY COMEDIAN SAM JAY
DOORS AT 7PM
We are thrilled to announce our annual fundraiser, Mission Equality, will be held on November 11th at the Garden Theater (3929 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48201) with a special keynote performance from comedian Sam Jay!
We hope that you will join us for an evening of celebration and community as we come together to raise funds for education, victim services, and outreach that empowers LGBTQ+ neighbors throughout the state.
Unlike past events, this year’s Mission Equality will not be a sit-down dinner. Instead, we will be highlighting recent successes, sharing future policy goals, and letting Sam entertain us all. Guests will have the opportunity to laugh and connect with other members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as allies who share our commitment to equality and justice. Most importantly, your support of this event allows us to come together to make a difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ people across Michigan. Your sponsorship will help us continue to offer counseling services, housing assistance, legal aid, and much more to those who are struggling to make ends meet or facing discrimination in their daily lives. The fight for equality in Michigan is not over. There is still a need for a strong statewide organization to hold the government accountable and support those facing discrimination.
